England is my native land - born and raised in Cambridgeshire, in a very small town called Bury, approximately 1 hour 10 minutes north of London.  I lived there until just before my 8th birthday when my family moved to the USA.  I have been living as an ex-pat ever since.  My accent is a story that I am unable to fathom due to my tendency to adopt accents of wherever I live and hybridize my pronunciation, but the general consensus is that it is rooted in British-English.  My extended family lives to this day scattered about southern England and Scotland, and I still travel and live as a UK citizen.  England and my friends and family there hold a special place in my heart.
